A farmer is a person who grows crops and produces food for us. Farmers usually live in villages and work in fields. They get up early in the morning and begin their work. They plough the land, sow seeds, water crops, remove weeds, and harvest rice, vegetables, fruits, and other crops. Some farmers also keep cows, goats, chickens, or ducks. Their work is very hard because they have to work in the sun, rain, and cold. Sometimes floods, droughts, insects, or low prices cause them great loss. Though farmers work hard, many of them live simple lives. We depend on them for our food. So, farmers are very important people, and we should respect their hard work and contribution to the country.

A country cannot remain healthy or productive without a strong agricultural sector. Therefore, farmers should receive proper training, fair prices, modern farming support, and social respect, because their hard work is essential to the well-being of the whole nation.
