The Two Blind Men

There were two blind men in Rome. They sat by the street and asked for alms. One cried, “Allah gives food.” The other said, “May the king be pleased.”

The king heard them one day. He wanted to test them. He gave a loaf of bread to the second blind man. Inside the bread, there was a piece of gold.

The second blind man did not know this. He sold the bread to the first blind man for a little money. The first blind man took the bread home.

When he cut the bread, he found the gold. He became very happy.

The king understood the truth. Allah gives in His own way.

The second blind man did not know about the gold. He thought, “I do not want bread. I need money.” So he sold the bread to the first blind man for a small coin.

The first blind man took the bread home. When he cut it, he found the piece of gold inside. He thanked Allah again and again. With that gold, he bought food and clothes.

The next day, the king learned everything. He was surprised. He said, “I gave the bread, but Allah gave the gold to the man who trusted Him.” The story teaches us to trust Allah and be thankful.

There were two blind men in Rome. They were poor and helpless. Every morning, they came to a busy street and sat beside the road. Many people passed that way and gave them a little food or money.

The first blind man was a simple and faithful man. He always cried, “Allah gives food to all. Please help me for Allah’s sake.” The second blind man had a different way. He always said, “May the king be pleased with me. May the king give me food.”

One day, the king passed by that street. He heard the words of the two blind men. He smiled and said to his men, “I want to see who gets help.” He took a loaf of bread and secretly put a piece of gold inside it. Then he gave the bread to the second blind man, the man who praised the king.

The second blind man took the bread, but he was not happy. He thought, “What shall I do with bread? I need money.” So he said to the first blind man, “Will you buy this bread?” The first blind man was hungry. He bought the bread with a small coin and took it home.

When he cut the bread, he found the piece of gold inside. He was very surprised and happy. He raised his hands and thanked Allah. With the gold, he bought food, clothes, and other necessary things.

The next day, the king heard the news. He understood the lesson. He said, “I gave the bread to one man, but Allah sent the gold to the other man.” The story teaches us that true help comes from Allah. We should trust Him and be grateful.
