The monkey quickly came down from the tree. It took the knife in its hand. It tried to do the same thing as the shoemaker. But the monkey did not understand the danger. It moved the sharp knife carelessly and hurt itself badly.
The monkey became frightened and ran away. After that, it never came to the shoemaker’s shop again. The shoemaker worked peacefully from that day. The story teaches us that foolish copying can bring great danger.
