The Lion and the Mouse

After a few days, the lion was walking in the forest. Suddenly, he was caught in a hunter’s net. He tried again and again to get out, but he could not. He became afraid and roared loudly. His roar went through the forest.
The little mouse heard the lion’s roar. It ran to the place and saw the lion in the net. The mouse said, “Do not worry. I will help you.” Then it began to cut the net with its sharp teeth.
After some time, the net was cut, and the lion became free. The lion felt very happy. He said, “Little friend, I laughed at you before. But today you saved my life.” The story teaches us that nobody is too small to help others. Kindness always brings good results.
