The Brave Boy and the Train

The driver saw the red cloth. He understood that there was danger ahead. He used the brake and stopped the train before the broken part of the line. The passengers came down quickly. They saw the damaged rail and became shocked.

Everyone thanked Karim. Some passengers said, “This boy has saved our lives.” Later, railway officers came and repaired the line. They also rewarded Karim for his bravery. Karim felt happy, not for the reward, but because he had saved many people. The story teaches us that courage and quick action can save lives.
