Dulal at the Boishakh Fair

Suddenly, he saw a little boy crying near a shop. The boy lost his parents. Dulal felt sorry for him. He took the boy to the announcement place.
After a few minutes, the boy’s parents came. They thanked Dulal. Dulal returned home happily. He learned that helping others gives real joy.

Dulal bought a flute and some sweets. Then he saw a little boy crying near a toy shop. The boy was alone. Dulal went near him and asked, “Why are you crying?” The boy said, “I cannot find my parents.”
Dulal did not leave the boy alone. He took him to his father. Then they went to the announcement centre. The man there called the boy’s parents on the microphone.
Soon the boy’s parents came running. They were very worried. They thanked Dulal and his father again and again. Dulal felt very happy. That day, he enjoyed the fair more because he helped someone.

It was the first day of Boishakh. Dulal came out of his house with all his family members. It was a bright morning. Everyone was happy because they were going to the Boishakh fair. Dulal wore a new dress. His sister wore bangles, and his mother carried a small bag.
After some time, they reached the fair. The place was full of people. There were many shops on both sides of the road. Some shops sold toys. Some shops sold sweets. Some shops sold clay dolls, masks, balloons, and flutes. Dulal looked here and there with great joy.
His father bought him a flute. His mother bought sweets for the family. Dulal also saw a puppet show and a small music group. He was very happy. Suddenly, he heard someone crying near a toy shop. He looked back and saw a little boy standing alone. The boy was crying loudly.
Dulal went to him and asked, “Why are you crying?” The boy said, “I came here with my parents. Now I cannot find them.” Dulal felt very sorry for him. He called his father. His father said, “We should help him first.”
They took the boy to the announcement centre. A man announced the boy’s name and his father’s name on the microphone. After a few minutes, the boy’s parents came running. They hugged their son and thanked Dulal’s family.
Dulal felt proud and peaceful. He understood that a fair is not only for fun. It is also a place to show kindness. He returned home with sweets, toys, and a happy heart.
