An Honest Schoolboy

Here are two stories about the honesty of a school boy.

The Honest Schoolboy

Rafiq was a young schoolboy. He was in class four. He lived in a small village with his parents. His father was a farmer, and his mother was a housewife. Rafiq was a good boy. He always listened to his teachers and parents. He was kind, polite, and helpful. But the best thing about Rafiq was his honesty.

One day, Rafiq was walking to school. On the way, he saw something shiny on the road. He went near and picked it up. It was a wallet! He opened the wallet and saw money inside. There was also a national ID card and some papers. Rafiq did not take the money. He wanted to find the owner.

Rafiq showed the wallet to his class teacher. The teacher looked at the ID card and found the name and address. It belonged to a man who lived in the same village. The teacher and Rafiq went to the man's house and gave the wallet back. The man was very happy. He said, “Thank you, my son! You are a very honest boy.”

The man wanted to give Rafiq some money as a gift, but Rafiq said, “No, sir. I just did what is right.” The man smiled and blessed him.

The next day, the headmaster called Rafiq on stage during the assembly. He told all the students about Rafiq’s honesty. Everyone clapped for him. Rafiq felt very proud and happy.

From that day, Rafiq became a role model for other students. His honesty won everyone’s heart.

Rafiq was a young schoolboy. He was in class four. He lived in a small village with his parents. His father was a farmer, and his mother was a housewife. They were poor, but they were honest and kind. Rafiq was also a very good boy. He always listened to his teachers and parents. He did his homework every day and never told lies. All his friends liked him.

One morning, Rafiq was walking to school. It was a bright and sunny day. On the way, he saw something shiny near a bush. He went close and picked it up. It was a brown leather wallet. He opened the wallet and found some money inside. There was also a national ID card, a driving license, and a few papers. Rafiq counted the money. It was a big amount. He could have bought many things with that money, but he did not take anything.

Rafiq knew he must return the wallet to its owner. He took it to school and showed it to his class teacher. The teacher looked at the ID card and found the name and address of the owner. The teacher and Rafiq went to the man’s house after school.

The man was surprised and happy. He had lost the wallet in the morning and was very worried. He said, “Thank you, my son! You are an honest and brave boy.” He offered some money to Rafiq as a reward, but Rafiq politely refused. “No, sir,” he said. “I only did what was right.”

The next day, during the school assembly, the headmaster told all the students about Rafiq’s honesty. Everyone clapped for him. Rafiq became a hero in school. His honesty won everyone’s heart and respect.
