এখন আমরা শিখব কীভাবে direct থেকে indirect change করতে হয়।

  • অনেক student একসাথে সব change করতে গিয়ে confused হয়ে যায়।
  • কিন্তু যদি step follow করো, তাহলে narration খুব easy।

6টি Step (Overview)

Step 1: Quotation mark বাদ দাও

Step 2: Reporting verb change করো

Step 3: that যোগ করো

Step 4: Pronoun change করো

Step 5: Tense change করো

Step 6: Time/place change করো

আজকে আমরা প্রথম তিনটি Step শিখবো।

একটি Sentence দিয়ে শুরু করি

Direct:

  • Rafi said, “The earth is round.”

Step 1: Quotation mark বাদ দাও

  • Rafi said, The earth is round.

Step 2: Reporting verb change করো

  • said (এখানে change হয়নি)

Step 3: that যোগ করো

  • Rafi said that the earth is round. (that যোগ করা হয়েছে)

Step 1: Quotation mark বাদ দাও

  • The doctor said, Health is wealth.

Step 2: Reporting verb change করো

  • said (এখানে change হয়নি)

Step 3: that যোগ করো

  • The doctor said that health is wealth. (that যোগ করা হয়েছে)

  • The teacher said that honesty is the best policy.  (that যোগ করা হয়েছে)

এই Step কেন Important

Step follow করলে:

  • ভুল কম হবে
  • বোঝা সহজ হবে
  • confidence বাড়বে

Common Mistakes

আমি পরীক্ষার খাতা দেখার সময় এই ভুলগুলো বেশি পাইঃ 

  • Quotation mark না বাদ দেওয়া
  • Pronoun change না করা
  • Tense change ভুল করা

তাই পরের লেসনে আমরা এগুলো শিখবো।
