Adverbial Phrases

An adverbial phrase is a group of words that function as an adverb.

(i) Adverb Phrase of Time

  1. Before sleeping, she brushed her teeth.
  2. After dinner, we went for a walk.
  3. During the holidays, they visited their grandparents.
  4. Before the exam, he revised all chapters.
  5. After breakfast, she left for school.
  6. While waiting, I read a book.
