A Thirsty Crow

Short Version

Once there was a crow. One day, the crow was very thirsty. He flew from place to place and looked for water. He looked near trees, fields, and houses, but he could not find any water. He became tired and sad.

After some time, he saw a jar near a house. He flew down and looked inside it. There was a little water at the bottom of the jar. The crow tried to drink it, but his beak could not reach the water.

Then he saw some small stones near the jar. He had an idea. He picked up the stones one by one and dropped them into the jar. Slowly, the water came up.

At last, the crow could reach the water. He drank it and felt happy. Then he flew away.

Moral: We can solve problems by thinking carefully.

Once there was a crow. One hot day, the crow became very thirsty. He flew from place to place in search of water. He looked near trees, fields, houses, and ponds, but he could not find enough water anywhere. After flying for a long time, he became tired and weak.

At last, the crow saw a jar near a house. He quickly flew down and looked inside it. There was a little water at the bottom of the jar. The crow was very happy and tried to drink it. But the jar was deep, and his beak could not reach the water.

The crow did not give up. He looked around and saw some small stones lying near the jar. Suddenly, he had an idea. He picked up one stone in his beak and dropped it into the jar. Then he picked up another stone and dropped it in. He continued doing this again and again.

Slowly, the water level began to rise. After some time, the water came near the top of the jar. The crow put his beak into the jar and drank the water.

His thirst was gone. The crow felt fresh and happy. Then he spread his wings and flew away.

Moral: We can solve problems by thinking carefully.
