A Liar Cowboy Short

Short Version

Once there was a young cowboy in a village. Every day, he took the cows to a field near a forest. He had a bad habit. He liked to tell lies and make fun of the villagers.

One day, he shouted, “Tiger! Tiger! Please help me!” The villagers ran to the field to save him. But there was no tiger. The boy laughed at them. The villagers were angry and went home.

A few days later, he did the same thing again. The villagers came, but there was no tiger again.

One day, a tiger really came near the cows. The boy shouted for help, but nobody came. The villagers thought he was lying again.

The tiger killed the cows. The boy ran away and saved his life. He was very sorry for his lies.

Moral: Nobody believes a liar.

Once there was a young cowboy in a village. Every morning, he took the village cows to a green field near a deep forest. He stayed there for many hours while the cows ate grass. The boy had a bad habit. He liked to tell lies and make fun of other people.

One day, he suddenly shouted, “Tiger! Tiger! Please help me!” The villagers heard his cries and ran to the field with sticks. They wanted to save the boy and the cows. But when they arrived, they saw no tiger. The boy laughed and danced because he had fooled them. The villagers became angry and went back home.

A few days later, the boy played the same trick again. Once more, the villagers ran to help him, and once more they found no tiger. They warned him not to tell lies.

One day, a tiger really came out of the forest. The boy became frightened and shouted again and again for help. This time, nobody came. The villagers thought that he was lying again.

The tiger attacked the cows and killed them. The boy ran away and saved his own life. He then understood how dangerous his lies had been.

Moral: Nobody believes a liar.
