PHYSICAL EXERCISE

Introduction: Modern life is very complex and complicated. It is full of activities and struggle. We can tackle them only if we are physically and mentally fit. Physical exercise can give us this fitness.


What is physical exercise: Physical exercise means the movement of the limbs of our body according to rules. It makes our body and mind healthy. It also keeps us free from disease. So, none can enjoy good health without physical exercise.


Kinds of physical exercise: There are many kinds of physical exercises. They are walking, swimming, running, etc. Games and sports are also good forms of healthy exercises. But all forms of exercise are not equally suitable to all. Games and sports are quite good for the young. On the other hand, walking is good for all aged people.


Proper time of exercise: Morning and evening are the best time of taking physical exercise. We should take exercise in the open air. We should not take exercise in empty stomach or immediately after taking meal.


Necessity: There is a proverb, "A sound mind lies in a sound body". If the body is unsound, the mind must be unsound. A sound body depends on regular exercise. So, physical exercise is very necessary to us. It improves our health and makes us strong and active. It also improves our power of digestion. It keeps us free from diseases also.


Conclusion: Health is wealth. It is the root of all happiness. Physical exercise gives us this wealth. So, we should take physical exercise regularly.



Physical Exercise-2

Physical exercise means the regular movement of our body according to some rules. It is a device through which different organs of the body are developed in a proper way. Without exercise none can enjoy good health. So, physical exercise is very important to keep a sound body and a sound mind.


There are some forms of physical exercise like walking, swimming, riding, running, etc. These are simple and light in nature. There are some other forms of physical exercise like cricket, football, hockey, badminton, tennis, gymnastics etc. These are treated as heavy forms of exercise. All forms of exercise are not equally suitable to all. For the young, all kinds of games such as football, hockey, cricket, tennis are quite good. For the women, badminton and table tennis are quite nice. On the other hand, walking is good for the weak and the old.  

               

The morning and the evening are the best time for taking physical exercise. Physical exercise should be taken in the open air. No exercise should be taken in empty stomach or just after taking meal. We should take exercise regularly. But we should also remember that over exercise causes harm to our health.


Physical exercise is very essential for people of all ages, because it keeps us physically fit. Our life is full of work and struggle. One can cope with them if one has physical fitness and mental strength. Indeed, a sound mind in a sound body is necessary for success in life. A man can have a mind and a sound body if he takes physical exercise regularly. Physical exercise gives us some other benefits too. It strengthens our body and gives excellent recreation to our mind. It takes our mind far away from worries and anxieties of day-to-day life and fills our mind with joy. It gives us new energy and strength to work. It increases our physical strength to work too. Besides, a man who takes regular exercise can keep himself aloof from all sorts of diseases. He can also live longer than other people.

Physical exercise is necessary for the students too. It helps them to develop their brain. A student who takes physical exercise can study hard and do well in the exam. But a student who does not take exercise, falls a victim to many diseases and fails to shine in life. Besides, it also teaches us discipline, regularity etc.


A sound health is the key to our success on earth. And only physical exercise can ensure the soundness of our body and mind. So, we all should form the habit of taking physical exercise from very early of our life.


Our body is like a machine. If any part of this machine is left unused, it gets rusty. So, we all should take physical exercise regularly in order to lead healthier, happier and longer life.


Physical exercise enables us to live a healthy and happy life. It prolongs our life and strengths our mind. It teaches us the principles of discipline and regularity. Now-a-days, it has been treated as a part and parcel of education. It is, therefore, important for all to take some form of physical exercise regularly.
