1. Point out the gerunds in the following sentences and state whether it is Subject, Object, Complement or used after a preposition.

(a) Habib is fond of swimming but Hasan prefers dancing.

(b) Rahim doesn't like singing very much.

(d) Riding on a horse is exciting.

(e) He was punished for telling a lie. 

(f) By reading book you can make good result.

2. Point out the gerunds in the following sentences and state whether it is Subject, Object, Complement or used after a preposition.
